Taiga
You Are Going To Need a Jacket
The taiga is the largest biome in the world. It is also the best place to go snowboarding and sledding. Coniferous trees live in this biome and have many adaptations that help them survive. Many have the adaptation that helps tham retain water when rainfall is scarce. The temperatures don't help either. The average temperature is below freezing for six months out of the year. The winter temperature range is -54 to -1° C (-65 to 30° F), but in the summer it is mosly warm and the sun shines all day for weeks on end. So the best time to go sledding or snowboarding would be around the early spring, late fall. Going around this time will ensure that you have the most exciting expereince that you will remember forever, and oh yeah don't forget to bring a thick coat because of, you know, the cold.
